President's Message

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the final rounds of this fourth edition of the Tennis Europe Nations Challenge by HEAD. Between the boys and girls events, the 2011 competition looks set to be the most exciting yet.

This unique tournament is the official European Team Championship event for Under 12s, and for many of the players present this represents a first opportunity to play for their national teams, the first step on a ladder that for some will lead one day to doing so in the Davis Cup or Fed Cup.

Over the next few days, the eight teams to have fought through to these final rounds will compete for the honour of being Tennis Europe Nations Challenge by HEAD champions.

The Tennis Europe Nations Challenge by HEAD is presented in association with the world's leading tennis equipment manufacturer, HEAD. I would like to thank them for their continued enthusiastic support for this competition, and for Tennis Europe in general.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the participating national tennis associations for supporting the event, and also the great many people involved at club level, the tournament organisers and officials who have played a role in the staging of the competition. Your generous help and hospitality are very much appreciated. Many thanks also to all of the local sponsors and volunteers for their valuable contributions.

Finally, I would like to thank all of those who have come to visit the event. Whether you are here as a participant or a supporter of junior tennis, I wish you all an enjoyable and successful four days of tennis.
